An established and growing independent insurance brokerage is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to join its team. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of personal insurance clients while providing expert guidance, responsive service, and tailored insurance solutions. Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Account Management
- Manage and service an established portfolio of personal insurance accounts.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, providing responsive, professional, and knowledgeable service.
- Review policies and recommend coverage enhancements or adjustments based on changes in client needs and exposures.
- Handle renewals, endorsements, policy changes, billing inquiries, and general account servicing activities.
- Collaborate with insurer partners to secure solutions and advocate on behalf of clients.
- Assist clients in understanding insurance products, coverage options, and policy recommendations.
- Explore remarketing opportunities when appropriate to ensure competitive pricing and suitable coverage alignment.
- Navigate insurer portals and brokerage systems efficiently to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Support complex account servicing situations and develop creative solutions for unique client needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and client records in accordance with brokerage standards and regulatory requirements.
- Build trusted client relationships that support long-term retention and service excellence.
Qualifications
- Approximately 4–5 years of personal lines insurance experience.
- Experience managing a personal lines portfolio in an account management or client servicing capacity.
- Strong understanding of personal insurance products, coverages, and policy interpretation.
- Experience handling renewals, endorsements, policy servicing, and client inquiries.
- Familiarity with insurer portals and carrier relationships.
- Experience with brokerage management systems is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Client-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
- CIP designation completed or in progress is considered an asset.

Salary Information
Compensation for the successful candidate will be determined by our client and may vary based on several factors, including local market conditions, geographic location, and job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, experience, education, and credentials.
Expected salary range: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 annually.
