Personal Lines Insurance Advisor
The Opportunity
Our client, a growing and client-focused insurance brokerage, is seeking a Personal Insurance Advisor to join its service team.
This position is ideal for an insurance professional who enjoys building long-term client relationships, delivering exceptional service, and helping clients maintain appropriate coverage for their personal insurance needs. The successful candidate will focus primarily on policy renewals, client retention, and ongoing account servicing while identifying opportunities to provide additional value through coverage recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Manage an assigned portfolio of personal insurance accounts with a focus on client retention and service excellence.
- Build strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and ongoing support.
- Conduct policy reviews and discuss coverage options to ensure client needs continue to be met.
- Provide professional guidance on personal insurance products and risk management solutions.
Policy Service & Administration
- Handle renewals, policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, and payment-related inquiries.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
- Ensure all transactions are processed efficiently and in accordance with brokerage and regulatory standards.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and service requests.
Account Development
- Identify opportunities to enhance client protection through additional coverage recommendations.
- Support account rounding and cross-selling initiatives where appropriate.
- Stay informed on insurance products, market trends, and regulatory changes affecting clients.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of experience within a personal insurance brokerage or insurance service environment.
- Strong understanding of personal insurance products and coverage structures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse client base; multilingual capabilities are considered a strong asset.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Salary Information
Compensation for the successful candidate will be determined by our client and may vary based on several factors, including local market conditions, geographic location, and job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, experience, education, and credentials.
Expected salary range: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 annually
