The Opportunity

Our client, a well-established insurance brokerage, is seeking a Personal Insurance Service Advisor to join its growing client service team.

This role is ideal for an insurance professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences, providing trusted insurance advice, and building long-term relationships. The successful candidate will support personal insurance clients through policy servicing, coverage consultations, claims support, and ongoing account management.

The position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative environment while continuing to develop technical insurance expertise and client relationship skills.

Key Responsibilities

Client Service & Account Management

  • Provide professional and responsive service to personal insurance clients through phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Manage client requests related to policy changes, endorsements, billing inquiries, and general account servicing.
  • Review insurance programs and provide recommendations based on client needs and risk exposures.
  • Respond to requests for documentation, coverage explanations, and policy information in a timely and accurate manner.

Insurance Advisory Services

  • Discuss coverage options with clients and explain policy features, benefits, and limitations.
  • Prepare and present insurance quotations while helping clients evaluate available coverage solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve client protection through additional coverage recommendations.
  • Support specialized insurance products and unique client situations when required.

Claims Support

  • Assist clients throughout the claims process by providing guidance and support.
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers and claims professionals to facilitate efficient claim resolution.
  • Act as an advocate for clients while maintaining professional relationships with insurer partners.

Collaboration & Professional Development

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy transactions.
  • Participate in training and professional development initiatives to stay current on products, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Active RIBO license in good standing.
  • Experience within a personal insurance brokerage or client service environment.
  • Strong understanding of personal insurance products and coverage structures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-management skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of client service.

Salary Information

Compensation for the successful candidate will be determined by our client and may vary based on several factors, including local market conditions, geographic location, and job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, experience, education, and credentials.

Expected salary range: $55,000.00 – $75,000.00 annually.
