Personal Lines Sales Broker – High Net Worth
The Opportunity
Our client, a well-established and growing insurance brokerage, is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Sales Broker to join its team. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional with expertise in the High Net Worth market who enjoys building relationships, developing new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional client service.
The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the brokerage’s personal insurance portfolio while providing tailored solutions to affluent clients and collaborating with internal partners to maximize growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Meet or exceed monthly sales and production targets.
- Manage inbound and outbound sales inquiries and prospect communications.
- Develop and execute prospecting and marketing strategies to generate new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of referral sources, networking contacts, and prospective clients.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and collaborate with internal teams to expand client relationships.
- Participate in networking events, industry functions, and community activities to build brand awareness and generate leads.
Client Advisory & Service
- Provide clients with professional insurance advice and customized coverage recommendations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and beyond.
- Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries and concerns.
- Assess client needs and present insurance solutions that align with their unique circumstances and risk profiles.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage retention and referrals.
Administration & Compliance
- Complete all required documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure client files and records are maintained in accordance with brokerage standards and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize brokerage systems and tools to manage client information, quotes, and sales activities.
- Adhere to all licensing, compliance, and professional standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of successful Personal Lines sales experience, preferably within the High Net Worth market.
- Active RIBO license required.
- Post-secondary education in a related discipline is preferred.
- Proven ability to prospect, develop new business, and achieve sales targets.
- Comfortable conducting business development activities through phone, email, networking, and referrals.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong results orientation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and insurance brokerage technology platforms; experience with brokerage management systems and comparative rating software is considered an asset.
Salary Information
Compensation for the successful candidate will be determined by our client and may vary based on several factors, including local market conditions, geographic location, and job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, experience, education, and credentials.
Expected salary range: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 annually + Commissions.
