An established and growing insurance brokerage is seeking a Personal Lines Team Lead to join its leadership team. Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

  • Provide effective leadership, coaching, and mentorship to a team of personal lines professionals.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to review performance, provide feedback, and support professional growth.
  • Complete formal performance evaluations and development plans.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews and identify coaching opportunities.
  • Lead regular team meetings to communicate updates, best practices, and organizational initiatives.
  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of new and existing team members.

Operational Excellence

  • Monitor team productivity, service standards, and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, carrier requirements, and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with management to address operational, technical, and service-related matters.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and workflow optimization.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across departments and business units.
  • Assist with escalated client service matters and complex situations as required.
  • Oversee a team of insurance professionals operating in a variety of work environments, including remote, hybrid, and in-office settings.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of personal lines insurance experience.
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or team coaching experience is considered an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of personal insurance products, coverages, and industry practices.
  • RIBO license preferred.
  • CIP, CAIB, or other industry designations are considered assets.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Advanced organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with brokerage management systems and comparative rating platforms is considered an asset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage competing priorities.

Salary Information

Compensation for the successful candidate will be determined by our client and may vary based on several factors, including local market conditions, geographic location, and job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, experience, education, and credentials.

Expected salary range: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 annually.
