Personal Lines Team Leader
The Opportunity
Our client, a well-established and growing insurance brokerage, is seeking an experienced Personal Insurance Team Leader to oversee a client-focused service team and support the continued growth of its personal insurance division.
This position is well-suited for a seasoned insurance professional who enjoys coaching and developing team members, providing technical expertise, and helping create an exceptional client experience. The successful candidate will combine leadership responsibilities with hands-on involvement in service delivery, workflow management, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and support to a team of personal insurance professionals.
- Mentor team members and assist with technical questions, coverage recommendations, and client service challenges.
- Support employee development through coaching, training, and performance management.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing professional growth initiatives.
Client Service & Technical Support
- Act as a resource for complex client matters, policy reviews, endorsements, and renewal strategies.
- Provide expertise on personal insurance products and coverage solutions.
- Help ensure clients receive timely, accurate, and professional service.
- Support retention initiatives through proactive account management and relationship building.
Operations & Workflow Management
- Monitor workloads and service standards to promote efficiency and consistency.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, client experience, and operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business growth and client retention objectives.
- Maintain strong relationships with insurance markets and business partners.
Qualifications
- Active RIBO license in good standing.
- Several years of experience within a personal insurance brokerage environment.
- Previous leadership, supervisory, mentoring, or coaching experience is considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of personal insurance products and coverage structures.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage competing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to support team success while maintaining a high standard of client care.

Salary Information
Compensation for the successful candidate will be determined by our client and may vary based on several factors, including local market conditions, geographic location, and job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, experience, education, and credentials.
Expected salary range: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 annually.
