Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager
Position Summary
A well-established and growing insurance brokerage is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join its team. This individual will play a key role in servicing and managing a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance clients while providing exceptional client support and contributing to the retention and growth of the brokerage’s commercial business.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical insurance knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with clients, insurance carriers, and internal stakeholders in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and service an assigned portfolio of commercial insurance accounts.
- Coordinate renewals, endorsements, policy changes, certificates, and client inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance company representatives, and industry partners.
- Review client coverage programs and identify opportunities to address potential gaps or exposures.
- Provide informed insurance recommendations based on clients’ operational and risk management needs.
- Market accounts and negotiate coverage solutions with insurers when required.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation in accordance with brokerage standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal team members to ensure seamless service delivery and a positive client experience.
- Stay current on market conditions, underwriting guidelines, carrier appetites, and industry developments.
- Contribute to client retention efforts and support the continued growth of the commercial insurance portfolio.
Qualifications
- Several years of commercial insurance experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, policy wordings, and underwriting principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Client-focused mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
- Relevant insurance licensing required.
- CAIB, CIP, CRM, or progress toward an industry designation is considered an asset.

Salary Information
Compensation for the successful candidate will be determined by our client and may vary based on several factors, including local market conditions, geographic location, and job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, experience, education, and credentials.
Expected salary range: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 annually.
