The Opportunity
Our client, an expanding independent insurance brokerage, is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Producer to support growth initiatives and develop a profitable portfolio of commercial business.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Generate new commercial insurance opportunities through networking, relationship building, referrals, and targeted prospecting efforts.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline across a variety of industries and market segments.
- Conduct client discovery meetings to understand business operations, risk exposures, and insurance requirements.
- Develop and present customized insurance and risk management solutions.
- Manage the sales process from prospect identification through implementation and onboarding.
Client Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with business owners, executives, and key stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor by providing strategic insurance guidance and risk management recommendations.
- Conduct ongoing account reviews and identify opportunities for additional products and services.
- Support retention initiatives and client satisfaction efforts.
Portfolio Growth & Strategy
- Develop and execute a personal business plan focused on sustainable growth and revenue generation.
- Identify niche markets, industry opportunities, and relationship networks that support long-term success.
- Collaborate with internal service teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Contribute to mentorship and knowledge-sharing initiatives when appropriate.
Market & Industry Engagement
- Stay informed on market trends, underwriting developments, and regulatory changes.
- Maintain strong relationships with insurance providers and industry partners.
- Participate in professional networking events, industry associations, and community initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven success in commercial insurance sales, business development, or a related client-facing role.
- Active insurance license or ability to obtain and maintain required licensing.
- Strong prospecting, networking, and relationship-management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business and build a profitable client portfolio.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a performance-driven environment.
- Experience using CRM systems and standard business software applications.

Salary Information
Compensation for the successful candidate will be determined by our client and may vary based on several factors, including local market conditions, geographic location, and job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, experience, education, and credentials.
Expected salary range: $45,000.00 – $80,000.00 annually + commission.
