Key Responsibilities

Client Service & Account Management

  • Deliver exceptional customer service through in-person, telephone, and digital interactions.
  • Manage and service a Personal Lines book of business, ensuring clients receive expert advice and appropriate coverage solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive coverage reviews and risk assessments to identify client needs and recommend suitable insurance products.
  • Prepare quotations for new business opportunities and convert prospects into long-term clients.
  • Review policies, coverage options, and renewal strategies with clients proactively prior to renewal dates.
  • Remarket policies when appropriate to ensure clients receive competitive and suitable coverage.
  • Report claims and provide ongoing client support throughout the claims process.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all client interactions and account activity.
  • Assist clients with ancillary insurance and protection products where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with underwriting partners and external stakeholders to support client needs and account servicing.

Mentorship & Team Support

  • Act as a mentor and resource for new and developing advisors.
  • Provide guidance on workflows, systems, product knowledge, and service best practices.
  • Support onboarding and knowledge transfer initiatives.
  • Assist colleagues with complex coverage questions and account-related matters.
  • Reinforce compliance standards, service expectations, and operational procedures.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment through coaching and knowledge sharing.

Business Development & Community Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the local community.
  • Develop referral networks and identify opportunities to expand business relationships.
  • Represent the organization at community events and networking opportunities.
  • Promote a client-first approach and serve as a positive ambassador for the organization.

Qualifications

  • Insurance Broker License required.
  • Additional industry certifications and designations are considered assets.
  • Post-secondary education is considered an asset.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing a Personal Lines book of business.
  • Strong customer service background with demonstrated conflict resolution experience.
  • Experience with brokerage management systems and insurance technology platforms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong knowledge of Personal Lines insurance products, coverages, and risk assessment principles.
  • Ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly and effectively to clients.
  • Experience supporting, mentoring, or coaching colleagues is considered an asset.
  • Ability to support flexible scheduling requirements, including occasional weekend coverage when required.

Salary Information

Compensation for the successful candidate will be determined by our client and may vary based on several factors, including local market conditions, geographic location, and job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, experience, education, and credentials.

Expected salary range: $55,000.00 – $75,000.00 annually.
